I knew this, but still can’t quite believe that only around 30% of workers in the US are actually engaged in what they do at work.
This means 70% feel disengaged. Not connected. Just going through the motions. That is better than nothing, I supposed. But when you are disengaged, you are not going to be creative. You are also not likely to add value to the culture of the firm. In a sense, you (the full you) is not even there.
