Some Estonian Experiments

As a loyal patriot, I am always excited when interesting things happen here in Estonia. And this week I was pleased to see two news items that show some initiative.

The first is an experiment in Tallinn to provide free public transport to residents. It is hyped as the largest such experiment in the world going on now. But more important, it is an interesting way to build loyalty to the system.

The second is an initiative to combine education materials development between Estonia and Finland. When one considers how good the Finns are at education, this seems like a no brainer. But there is something a bit more here – using a platform to collaborate is all the rage these days. Let’s see if this platform bears fruit!

Onward!
