Thinking about Peer to Peer Networks

I think a lot about peer to peer networking. I got started with Steve Johnson’s provocative comment that learning has a social dimension and networks mobilize that social dimension. Very cool?

But how do networks get going and what makes them work better? These are tough questions. We know that web platforms can create networks. Facebook and Twitter and lots of other web sites have done this. But what makes those platforms work better as learning tools?

This is a bit obscure. But this is a thread worth following. And I will be working on that in this category.
